This month hear music by Bach, Bartók and Tchaikovsky. Yefim Bronfman will perform Brahms' 2nd piano concerto, and we hear Michael Tilson Thomas' beautiful Street Song for Symphonic Brass.

This month a new season of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra features works by Rollini, Bates and Beethoven.

This month the San Fransisco Symphony presents Ives' Three Places in New England, which features recognizable hymns reimagined in 20th century harmony. Gil Shaham can be heard on violin.

This month the San Fransisco Symphony presents Hector Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, a late romantic work that Leonard Berstein once described as the first musical expedition into psychedelia, and Berlioz's Love Scene from Roméo et Juliette.
