Homework Hotline Hot Shot Contest Winners!

Congratulations to our Hotline Hot Shot Contest Winners

Homework Hotline kicked off its 20th anniversary season last September with its Hotline Hot Shot Contest. From September 12 through December 1, 2011 students were asked to submit photos of them doing their homework with captions as to why homework and education are important to them. 

And, our winners are: Lena M. from Irondequoit, NY Ben W. from Hilton, NY and Cody I. from Guilderland, NY. They will each receive a Nook electronic reader from Barnes and Noble.

Lena said: Homework and education are important to me because they help me learn. They are important because homework lets me practice things at home I don’t fully understand. They are important because without education, I probably wouldn’t be aware of what was happening. Homework and education are very important to me!

Working hard and getting good grades gives me the potential to live my dream!

Ben said: I have trouble with math sometimes but have a goal to become a landscape designer and know that math is an important part of this career.  Homework Hotline has helped me work through difficult problems and make them seem easier and almost fun!

 

9th through 12th grade: Cody I. from Guilderland, New York

Cody said: Homework’s essential in education because it helps me maintain the skills I learn at school and succeed in academics. Education is the starting point for a good future and people working together toward a better world.
