Nancy Steinkamp, Manager of Physical Rehabilitation Services at Rochester Rehabilitation and Molly Henry, Senior Physical Therapist at Rochester Rehabilitation join host Elissa Orlando for the first half of Healthy Friday on January 22 at 12 noon on AM 1370/FM-HD91.5-2. They'll discuss the importance of sports and recreation to the health and wellness of people with disabilities.
At 1 p.m. Orlando invites Lora Winghart, Director of Outpatient Clinic Services and Ellen Bailey, Physical Therapist and Licensed Personal Trainer in studio to join the conversation.
This Healthy Friday is part of Dialogue on Disability, a partnership between WXXI and Al Sigl Community of Agencies designed to stimulate community dialogue about the perspectives and abilities of people with disabilities. At the heart of this initiative is programming broadcast on WXXI television and radio that celebrates the amazing lives of people with disabilities. Dialogue on Disability runs January 18-24.
