WXXI hosts the first debate between Congresswoman Louise Slaughter and County Executive Maggie Brooks.
Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (D) and County Executive Maggie Brooks (R), both vying for the 25th District U.S. House of Representative seat, will go head to head in a Voice of the Voter debate on Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11), and will be simulcast on AM 1370/FM-HD 91.5-2 and streamed at WXXI.org.
During the hour-long debate Slaughter and Brooks will share their platforms and answer questions from Voice of the Voter panelists. Panelists are: WXXI's Bob Smith, Democrat and Chronicle's Jessica Alaimo, and WDKX's Tariq Spence. 13 WHAM-TV's Sean Carroll will moderate.
