Celebrate Rochester's independent movie house with us at a Roaring 20's themed party. You're sure to have a swell time.

On Tuesday, October 23 The Little Theatre, WXXI and Gala Honorary Chairs Jack and Barbara Kraushaar invite you to an evening of food, fun, and friends as we present Rochester’s own Mimi Kennedy with the Vanguard Award! This year our theme is the “Roaring 20’s” – harkening back to the days when the Little's doors first opened.

The Little Theatre Film Vanguard Award recipient Mimi Kennedy is a three-career woman, as a celebrated actress, author, and activist. She has successfully juggled a busy life working in theatre, film, and television while becoming a published author and passionate playwright. She is also Founding National Advisory Board Chair for Progressive Democrats of America. Ms. Kennedy will be joined by two other award recipients.  Owner and curator of 1975 Gallery Erich S. Lehman will receive the Good Neighbor Award and Arts Advocate Ron Van Pearlstein will receive The Friends of the Little Theatre Award.

The Awards Ceremony will be held in Theatre 1 at 6 pm, followed by a party, in True Roaring Twenties fashion, in Theatres 2 through 5. Period dress is highly encouraged! Complimentary valet parking will be available. Tickets are $100. To order tickets call 258-0252 or purchase online by clicking here.  All proceeds benefit The Little Theatre Film Society, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
