Cutting off the president

It is shameful that WXXI cut off our president during an important press conference to broadcast PSAs. I switched to Fox News to hear the last of the press conference. This unpatriotic, irresponsible, and unacceptable.

Personally, I believe any control room editor willing to cut the president off should be fired. There is no way that the following 5 minutes or more of ads for PBS was more important than what the president had to say.

Cutting off the president

Max - There was indeed a serious control room operator error. The President's speech should not have been cutoff. We apologize and are taking steps in ensure that this will not happen again.
