Hochstein at High Falls Presents The Ruddy Well Band

Thu, 07/17/2014 - 12:10pm - 1:00pm

The Ruddy Well Band

With robust harmonies and high energy driving rhythm, The Ruddy Well band has roots in the Americana, folk, and rock genres.

The High Falls Business Association has once again teamed up with the Hochstein School of Music & Dance and WXXI to present Hochstein at High Falls, a noontime summer concert series. The series includes ten outdoor concerts Thursday afternoons at 12:15pm during June, July and August. Weather permitting, they will be held in the Granite Mills Park near the Pont de Rennes Bridge. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch, or pick up a great lunch at area restaurants (like La Luna and Fina's Cafe). Each performance runs approximately 45 minutes.

Hochstein at High Falls is on Facebook. Visit: facebook.com/hochsteinhighfalls.

The July 17 concert features The Ruddy Well Band, a homegrown entity from Syracuse, New York, and two time Sammy Award winner for People’s Choice and Best Americana. Although members of the band have played together in different forms since 2008, officially the Ruddy Well Band was created in 2011 with the release of their self-produced album, Little Blue Marble. Continuing to evolve, they produced their second album, Change of Course, with Subcat Studios in 2013.

Andrew Ruddy – vocals, guitar, banjo, harmonica, upright bass; Monique Ritter – vocals and violin; Ryan Burdick – vocals, guitar, harmonica, percussion; Steve Scuteri – vocals and lead guitar; and Mike Sisto – vocals, upright bass, and mandolin.
