Classical 91.5 presents: SCORE

Sat, 02/03/2018 - 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Classical 91.5 Presents, a series that spotlights classical music connections in film, kicks off the season with this film music documentary.

Join WXXI at the Little Theatre on Saturday, February 3 at 3 p.m. for a special screening of SCORE. The documentary celebrates music in film by bringing Hollywood composers together for an inside peek at the musical challenges and creative secrecy of the world's most international music genre: the film score. It features interviews with nearly 60 composers, directors, orchestrators, studio musicians, producers, recording artists, studio executives, agents and journalists around the world. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with Mark Watters of the Beal Institute at the Eastman School of Music and others.

Come at 2 p.m. to enjoy music by The Empire Film Music Ensemble, who will be playing jazz versions of famous film scores in the Café before the film.
