Tune in to WXXI for continuous election coverage on November 2
As the election season comes to a close, I'd encourage you to tune in to WXXI on Election Night to keep on top of all our local and national races. WXXI's news team will be providing results and analysis with 1370 Connection’s Bob Smith and WXXI’s Center for Public Affairs News Director Julie Philipp in studio corralling up-to-the-minute reports from our field corespondents. WXXI reporters Carlet Cleare, Zack Seward, and Helene Biandudi will be reporting on local New York Senate and Assembly races, while WXXI Capitol Bureau Correspondent, Karen DeWitt, will provide additional statewide coverage throughout the evening.
Meanwhile, NPR will also have extensive summary and analysis on national races of interest. And that's just on the radio side. Hourly election updates from Smith and Philipp will air on WXXI-TV throughout the evening followed by a PBS NewsHour election special at 11 p.m. And, as always, updated results and streaming radio coverage can be found here on our election page. You can trust WXXI to provide the balanced and indepth election coverage you depend on.
Additionally, you can listen to Morning Edition and All Things Considered throughout the rest of the week as we explore just what the results mean to you, the state and the entire country. So be sure to vote this Tuesday -- and then be sure to tune to WXXI and discover how the political landscape might be changing.
