In October 2010 the legendary musical "LES MISÉRABLES" celebrated its 25th birthday.

No one could have guessed on October 8, 1985, when Les Misérables opened in London at the Barbican Theatre, that it would become a worldwide phenomenon. Audiences embraced it from the start, creating a “people’s musical” that has played in 42 countries and has been seen by nearly 60 million people. In 2010, the legendary musical celebrated its 25th birthday, and to mark the occasion, producer Cameron Mackintosh staged an extraordinary concert at the O2 Arena in London. Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert at the 02 airs Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). During the broadcast viewers will learn more about Les Misérables coming to the Auditorium Theatre in May 2013 and how to get presale tickets to the show.

Terrific I saw that concert! It was one of the best cast performance,
Its my all time favorite, seen it as a kid in Paris, and again when I moved to london. Les Miserables Musical by far one of the 5 best west end theatre Musicals no wonder why after more than 20 years it still playing...
