Opioid Crisis: The Ripple Effect

This April 9–15, as part of a public media collaborative funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), WXXI News, along with PBS/NPR partners OPB in Oregon, and ideastream in Ohio, will feature a special reporting series, Opioid Crisis: The Ripple Effect. The series, which will include reports from three telling locales across the country, will look at the people and issues indirectly affected by the opioid crisis and make the case that the epidemic’s ripple effects impact many.

In conjunction with this news series, WXXI-TV and WXXI-WORLD (DT 21.2/cable 1275) will present several specials on the opioid crisis. See below for program details.
