Song Travels with Michael Feinstein will be pre-empted on March 2nd and March 9th due to extra long Metropolitan Opera broaadcasts.  You won't miss a thing, as we'll be bringing you the next program on March 16, 23, and a Song Travels Double Bill at 4:00 and 5:00 on March 30th.

March 2013 programs on The Chicago Symphony

Although it did not win an Oscar, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is featured on the soundtrack of the film Lincoln, from DreamWorks Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox, in association with Participant Media, and directed by Steven Spielberg. The CSO, along with Members of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, recorded renowned composer John Williams' original score at Orchestra Hall in Chicago in May 2012, under Williams' baton.  But here's what's coming up for March on the Chicago Symphony's radio broadcast season.

Be Mine

Classical 91.5 listener Jeff Miller found this black valentine in an antique store a couple of years ago and says he couldn't resist, "For that special someone!"  It's a Hallmark card. Look at the signature. Jeff isn't sure if it was part of the original card or hand written.  What do you think?
